Grandparents went back to school last week at Bairnsdale Christian Community School.

Students invited grandparents and special friends to school for the morning as part of the school’s annual Grandparents Day.

The event saw more than 70 people come ‘back to school’ on Friday for a morning of shared activities, a mini concert and morning tea.

Children were excited to showcase what they do in class and had fun performing and sharing morning tea with their visitors.

Grandparents Day is an annual event at the school and is one several significant events in the school year.
