News Date: May 16th, 2017
The contribution mothers, grandmothers and friends make to our lives was celebrated at Bairnsdale Christian Community School recently.
On Friday, May 12, more than 30 special women were served breakfast by students, complete with coffee, hot chocolate, bacon and eggs before school as a way for students to say ‘thank you’ ahead of Mother’s Day. The event was coordinated by the Parents and Friends Committee and is one of several family events on the school calendar.
Kinder children also had the opportunity to celebrate the special women in their lives with a play time and afternoon tea on Monday.
Principal Steve McAllister said it was a delight to see the positive interaction between children and mothers.
